Who are we?
Matthew Ford was raised in a middle-class atheist home in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. He spent his 20s engaged in a worldly lifestyle of drugs and addiction.
At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, Matthew sought recovery and found it along with The Lord.
After spending several years working in secular drug addiction rehabs, The Lord put on Matthew’s heart a new mission: the beginning of ABLE ARC Ministries.
Bringing those suffering from what he once suffered from into the light he now rests in is Matthew’s passion and ABLE ARC Ministries' purpose.
Matthew hopes to one day make ABLE ARC his full-time vocation and currently pursues both financial and education opportunities to make it so.

Founded in 2023, ABLE ARC Ministries emerged from a mission to address the growing need for community and to alleviate the suffering of diverse populations. Our story begins with our founder's journey of faith. In 2020, he surrendered his life to Christ after battling sin and addiction. Guided by the Holy Spirit, he discovered a new way of living and dedicated himself to helping others do the same.
Initially working within the secular addiction treatment industry, our founder realised the limitations of these programs and the ineffectiveness of addressing brokenness without faith. This insight led to ABLE ARC Ministries, which integrates repentance of sin, acknowledging Christ as The Trailblazer on a new path in life and regular study of God’s Word.
At the core of our ministry is the belief that God has called His people to unite in community, fostering fellowship with one another and Him. Ours is a community on a walk with Christ as our Trailblazer, taking our hand on a Path of Recovery. We believe that all of mankind is addicted in one manner or another and all in need of recovery, realigning ourselves with God.
Today, ABLE ARC Ministries is a vibrant ministry producing impactful Bible studies for home and small group use. We also engage in evangelistic outreach and produce audio-video content for inspiration.
